Q&A: Why do tv series, like greys anatomy o three rivers, don't include nurses?

Nurses are a really important part of the hospitals also, they do almost all the dirty work and sometimes they even know more than the doctor. The other day I saw greys anatomy and they compare the easy work to a nurse, and the insult to a doctor was that she was a nurse. Whats up with that?
