Grey’s Anatomy is an American medical drama television series created by Shonda Rhimes.

The title Grey’s Anatomy was devised as an amalgam of Henry Gray’s medical textbook Gray’s Anatomy, and the references to characters Meredith and Lexie Grey.  Prior to broadcast, it was announced that the show’s title would be changed to Complications, although this ultimately did not happen.

 

Grey’s Anatomy was picked up for a 7th season for the 2010-2011 television season on May 14 and is set to return on September 23, 2010. Jesse Williams and Sarah Drew, who played Dr. Jackson Avery and Dr. April Kepner in season six, have been promoted to series regulars. James Tupper has been cast as Dr.

Andrew Perkins, a trauma counselor, for at least two episodes in the seventh season. It has also been revealed that April Kepner and Jackson Avery will be moving in with Meredith and Derek this season

Through the success of each season and episode the Greys Anatomy launch their latest Episode 3 of season 7 entitled Superfreak.

here’s the rundown of the episode

When Derek receives an unexpected and unwelcome visit from his estranged sister, Amelia, issues between the siblings – both past and present – come to the surface; the Chief tries to help Alex when he notices that he’s refusing to use the elevators after his near-fatal shooting; and Meredith and Derek continue their efforts to ease Cristina back into surgery after her post-traumatic stress.
